You know that old saying “you are what you eat”? Well, as with a lot of old sayings, it’s true, ask your doctor. Your anxiety and/or stress is exacerbated by foods that you may be eating. You need to be consuming less, even none at all, of foods that are up there in fat levels, foods that are loaded, or high, in sugar, and foods full of empty calories.

Eating more, and there is no ‘to much’, fruits and veggies’, foods higher in proteins (lean meats, yogurts, nuts,
tofu, etc). It is also known by anxiety and stress researchers and doctors that food with B vitamins are very helpful.

B vitamins are very helpful with both the maintaining a healthy nervous system and for your mental health. You may choose to take supplements, however B vitamins are found in many vegetables, which I am sure you are already eating plenty of.
